What the job involves
This role ensures the resident's environment in the contact centre is safe, clean, hygienic, and homely. You will engage in food preparation, cleaning, and laundry tasks while providing a nurturing environment for children and young people. Responsibilities include the maintenance of cleanliness in designated areas, managing supplies, and reporting any issues or repairs. Direct interaction with young residents requires an awareness of safeguarding and child protection. Your duties may vary based on seasonal needs or changes requested by the manager, maintaining flexibility and adherence to health and safety standards.
