Who You Are
As a Residential Worker, you are passionate about supporting and nurturing vulnerable young people in a new 2-bed children's home in Whetstone, N20. You have approximately 2 years of experience in children's homes, and ideally, you either possess or are working towards an NVQ Level 3 in working with children and young people. You are flexible, compassionate, and have a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
What the Job Involves
As a member of a small team at Egerton Children's Home, you will support and implement the home's development, ensuring the needs of young people are recognized and met. You will work closely with management to adhere to Ofsted regulations and the company's policies, providing a safe and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include organizing and supervising activities, participating in the care planning process, ensuring compliance with child protection procedures, and maintaining working relationships with parents and professionals.
