You are a team player focused on assisting in food preparation and maintaining cleanliness. You have a strong awareness of health and safety standards and are sensitive to the dietary needs of children and staff. You hold a Food Hygiene Certificate and possess knowledge of food hygiene and stock control.

What the Job Involves

• Assisting the cook with day-to-day kitchen tasks.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and area.
• Delivering meals and drinks to various areas within the Centre.
• Monitoring stock levels and informing the cook.
• Providing cover for the cook when necessary.
