You are an experienced Social Worker with a focus on family safeguarding. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled in managing complex cases with professionalism and efficiency. You reside more than 50 miles from Swindon, allowing you to benefit from additional travel and accommodation support.

What the Job Involves

As a Social Worker within the Family Safeguarding Service at Swindon Borough Council, you will work within a pod structure comprised of five Social Workers and one Manager. Your role will include undertaking comprehensive assessments, including parenting assessments, timely care plans, and court proceedings. You will ensure permanency plans for children, navigate complexity of risks, and provide thorough analysis and documentation of your interventions.
