Who You Are
You are a highly qualified professional, ideally OH qualified and preferably NMC part 3 registered, with a strong track record of clinical and operational excellence. Passionate about the benefits of proactive occupational health, you are customer, performance, and solution-focused, with extensive experience in managing your own case load. You possess excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of practical advice, and its effectiveness in achieving positive outcomes through case management.
What the Job Involves
As an Occupational Health Advisor within North Yorkshire Council’s Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service, you will deliver occupational health services, health promotion activities, and health surveillance programs across the Council, Schools & Academies, and external contracts. As part of a small, specialist team, you will have significant autonomy to self-manage your workload and work flexibly from home. You will report to the Senior OH Adviser - Clinical Manager and engage in meaningful work that impacts positively on individuals and organizations. The role involves working alongside a team of dedicated professionals for 15 – 20 hours a week.
