You are a knowledgeable professional with in-depth expertise in NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) eligibility. You understand the lawful limits of local authority provision under section 22 of the Care Act 2014. Your extensive experience in completing CHC assessments and utilizing the Decision Support Tool (DST) across various settings makes you an invaluable asset to any team.
What the Job Involves
As a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will represent the local authority perspective. You will be responsible for constructively challenging to support robust decision-making and exploring potential joint funding arrangements. Your role will be crucial in ensuring detailed and fair assessments in line with statutory requirements and guidance.
