Who You Are

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a deep understanding of SEND services and statutory SEND processes. You have a proven track record in leading or supporting service restructures and implementing new ways of working. Your expertise in change management, combined with your knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice, equips you to effectively lead and support teams through transitions. You excel in communication, problem-solving, and collaborative work with practitioners, senior leaders, and partners.

What the Job Involves

The SEND Transformation Lead will be instrumental in embedding transformational change across SEND services, with a focus on the restructured Statutory SEND Teams. The role involves operational leadership and applying change management expertise to implement and embed new structures, processes, and practices. The post holder will coordinate between teams and oversee improvements in performance, quality, and outcomes for children and young people with SEND. Additional responsibilities include process improvement, data-driven performance management, and contributing to broader SEND transformation activities.
