Job Description: Property Lawyer

Who You Are

You are a qualified Solicitor of England and Wales, Barrister, CILEX, or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience in property law and conveyancing. You have a strong understanding of local government and public administrative law and demonstrate excellent communication, case management, and client care skills. As a team player, you are self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to contributing to the community's quality of life and sustainability.

What the Job Involves

As a Property Lawyer in our Legal Services team, you will support a program of acquisitions for temporary accommodation, handle a legal caseload including freehold and leasehold conveyancing, acquisitions and disposals, and lease extensions. You will advise client officers, collaborate with partners and stakeholders, attend committee meetings, and prepare legal documentation under time constraints. This role also involves mentoring colleagues and occasionally attending evening meetings.
