What the Job Involves
As a Specialist Building Inspector, you will conduct specialist technical assessments and make essential decisions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to health, safety, and design. You will inspect high-risk buildings, work with the Building Safety Regulator on multidisciplinary teams, assess dangerous structures, and manage enforcement actions. The role includes supporting the Building Control management team, liaising with various stakeholders, and maintaining high customer service standards. You will also mentor team members and contribute to continuous professional development and service improvement related to Building Control.
